RIP Soldier

I just got word of another brother, SSG Edmond Lo of the 797th Ordnance Company (EOD) was lost (KIA) in Samarra, Iraq while conducting combat operations on Saturday June 13th. This was his second tour in Iraq, with his first deployment from 2005 to 2006.
SSG Lo's bravery and selfless actions have saved countless lives that simply cannot be measured. He paid the ultimate sacrifice protecting others from the hazards of an IED. We are indebted to his sacrifice. He is a Hero to us all and will always be remembered as a true Soldier and EOD Warrior. He will be sorely missed by all.
Rest Easy Brother...

When I here these stories it makes me sad. I'm just glad my uncle didn't die when his humvee got hit by an IED back in 2004.

R.I.P. SSG Lo and watch over your fellow EOD warriors like my dad when he deploys next year.

Dude, we need to support wounded warrior program or at least adopt a soldier or two for when they deploy. I know we have guys who know people over there now and we have active guys in the team. So why not set up a list on here, private, and lets organize
at least one care package a season or month.
Lets give back to these guys, I know all of us have a love for the military and for those who serve.

First off I want to thank you for all of us active guys we appreciate the fact that despite the political climate we are faced with for the next few years that there are folks out there that support those of us in uniform. I would suggest hitting up the active guys on the list for some suggestions for names of some of the needy Soldiers in their units the ones who need that little taste of home. I know when I was a private it was really nice to get those "any soldier" letters in the mail when deployed.

I'm in on any care package, we all know someone that is deployed or is getting ready to deploy. I pray everyday for my friends and family that are deployed and that they make it home safe.

Amen to that man. I'm down for doing a care package.
