So, guess what? The week before 737 was closing down (I got a 1 day notice), I got some external upgrades to my TM M16.
I suppose I cant run with the mag thats in it now at a mil sim place (even though i love the push button wind) can i? I do have the sights co witnessed. What I do not know though is in more areas that are open would it be wise to run this fore grip or the T grip? Also, what is the usual FPS limit? This gun is shooting under 400, but the gun im worried about is my M4, it is shooting 475.

Well at some of the regular Bad Karma and Nashville Airsoft fun play dates they will allow drum mags. In MilSim they don't allow drum mags or high caps on an M4. They basically give you the option of carrying a SAW or an M4 with an unlimited amount of mid caps. Most of us generally carry about 8 +1 in the gun.

As far as the grip goes I am use to using it and like it a lot. I use it indoors and outdoors and it helps me with faster target aquisition. It is really up to you what you prefer we have guys that run with either.

The FPS limits vary per event. I can tell you that 475 is faster than any place I know allows; with the exception of the one or two games a year where Bad Karma field has No FPS Limits. Some of those guys have guns well into the 600s. Seriously, most events we have seen here lately are requiring no more than 400 FPS with 20s. In some other events you may see it up to 425 with 25s, it just depends on the event organizer.

it was chronoed 475 with 20s is all i know. But that can still be my fun in the backyard gun. Oh, and I forgot to ask another question. the TM actually has all the same markings as a colt m16. that wont be a problem anywhere since it says colt and m16 on it will it?

Thanks for the help. Can you help me find a place that'll ship a charger for a deans connection quick? I lost mine when I moved and can't find any. I mean nashville airsoft may be my best bet but I simply don't feel like making the drive just for a charger.

Trying to build muscle memory or i would. believe me i hate building muscle memory. Gonna serve after high school if i don't get into the academy. Dont wanna be a support though. So, im gonna need all the training I can get.
Also, what kinda rig do yall recommend? Im probably not gonna run with the ranger harness. so just a plain molle vest which is versatile or a OD green plate carrier? The plate carrier has 4 double stack mag pouches plus the 3 on my leg holster. and the Molle vest, I can fit 4 mags plus 3 on leg again. With both of them I carry sidearm, med kit, etc. equally. The only real difference is 4 mags with the plate carrieror be able to be versatile and less of a target if i go with plain molle.

Are you describing gear you already own? Or gear you are thinking of buying?

Then lose the c-mag,flash light, and peq box. You cant not properly run an AFG with that set up.
