nice gear, need cardio...

I am in Baghdad, Iraq, so I limited to ordering things online. I had to go out on a mission so I missed out on the KWA auction. I am looking for an upgraded M-4(type) for a main gun, I have been picking up something each month with my taxes(Combat Zone Tax Exclusion-refunded federal taxes each month) and putting together my airsoft kit. I picked up a really nice Iraqi made CIRAS with all the pouches for $85, this week and a new Echo 1, M-203 off ebay. Any suggestions or recommendations would be gratefully accepted.

I am looking at a KWA KM-4 on ebay right now as a replacement for my TM M-4, not a lot of airsoft shops around here(things that look like weapons tend to draw our fire). Anyone have any insight on this piece? I have read good things about it, the price is right and its basically new. Thanks.

I don't know if anyone one here is interested but thought I would post them here before I put them on ebay. I have a case of issue OMNI-GLOW IR light stick(CHEMLITES). They are the 6 inch, 8 hour IR sticks, they are issue and have the defense contract numbers on them-very cool for a SOF impression. I will sale them by the box(10) for $10 a box. The storage life on the IR sticks don't seem to be that of the regular chemlites, so I don't want to leave them on the shelf for the next year. -ELI

Thanks for the info, I had seen a few different brands, and a wide price range. Outside of my marau, I don't know anything about the brands, I'd rather buy right the time, than have to replace or upgrade after a month. As far as the heat, I'm kinda used to it by this point, but especially by the end of this year I should be conditioned well enough!

I have talked to a few of you guys(especially chrisF), and have started building up an impression within you guys' guidelines, I head downrange in 9 days and plan on using my CTZE every month to invest into airsoft, and could use some advice on weapons. I am currently running a TM M-4, but am looking for an upgraded primary. I have been researching SCARs and HK416s being used in real world SF, have tons of photos to document both, including SCARs being used in Astan. I am also attracted to the idea of a SAW para that I don't have to clean.  What are some solid makers/models of these weapons and what should I steer clear of? Which of the three weapons would be most welcomed/best fit on the GDs? Last, does anyone use real helmets/armor, I have all the gear, but its real,I would prefer to use the actual gear with actual weight, as this is not only a recreational release for me, but job skills maintenance, would I be "that guy" or some weirdo if I do this?  Thanks -ELI
