Public Forums / General Discussion / Grenade Launchers - Any Point?

As the title states, is there any point in me investing into a grenade launcher? Either individual system, or attachment for the scar.
I'm already going to get a Tornado grenade, so I feel safe enough with that. Just wanted to see what you guys thought about them.

Public Forums / General Discussion / FN SCAR L - Need Help

I'm a lefty shooter that has been looking for a weapon system that was versitle enough to use in standard play, or CQB. I also wanted something that would use th M16/M4 magazine type. Honestly I was never a fan of the design for the SCAR riffle. I thought it looked odd to me. Until I took a trip to Nashville Airsoft. Once I had the SCAR in my hands I was in love. That thing feels damn solid, heck most of it was metal. The fire selector seemed to click into fire modes correctly, ang the magazine had no problem dropping using either side of the mag release. While it seemed a bit heavy, I don't think that I would notice the weight once I got my adrenaline running. My only concern with the weapon is the battery size. It's stated that it uses a mini 8.4v battery. I only worry about this because I was told (by you guys) to try to shy away from the small batteries. It's said by many reviewers that you can easily get to the battery on the Echo 1 version though. I hope this is true. Anyways I was hopping that one of you with expereince in the SCAR weapon system could tell me your experiences. The only other gun that I really fell in love with, is the Magpul Masada shown here Thanks in advance for the help guys, I hope to meet up with you guys next month.

Keep inmind that the G36 does not support M4 mags out of the box... not sure if there is a mag conversation kit to m4 for the echo1 or not...
As far as flash lights... some of us have them... but 95% of your experience will be during day light outside... again it's something to think about for certain events, but lower on the pirority list than most other items.
The particular G36 model is a newer "converted" model. Here is the link: http://www.airsoftgi.com/index.php?cPath=284_287(also they have extra rail parts to remove/replace the annoying iron sights on it)

Ok makes sense. So it seems you find the coms a essential part, as it should be. Where would you suggest that I start when looking for a good set up?
On a side not, I do believe that my wife and I will be going with the Echo 1 "G36C" MTC weapon. Even if I never ended up playing with you guys using a univeral magizine system should still be as effective. (not that I wouldn't mind playing with ya! lol)
I watched several videos on people playing airsoft with high power flashlights. In fact an entire team was using them in a close quarters capture the flag. You yould have to be blinded with the illumination they were giving off, that is if you were on the recieveing end. Is that kind of thing a factor when playing outside or larger areas?

Thanks for the good tip. I have a question about pistols now. I'm a pretty big guy, with slightly bigger than average hands. I've held a lot of different model pistols, and only the .45 and up seem to feel comfortable.
The only thing that bugs me, is they're so darn big I might get all fumbled up with it. So is there anything that you guys would suggest I loot at in terms of a pistol? Or for that matter, do you even suggest carrying one?
